Sir -- So, the boffins have finally realised that women don't have sex for the same reason that men do (Julia Molony, Sunday Independent, September 23, 2009) -- namely enjoyment. Apparently they use it as a ploy, nay weapon to get us stupid men to do whatever they want.

Well, who'd have thought it? I wonder just how long it took them to take down the particulars of 1,000 women and assemble their findings into this great work of fiction. Newsflash for authors Meston and Bush -- we already know!

Why is it always the male of the species who has to woo the female if he wants a bit of nookie? Why can't women just do the deed without being wined and dined, showered with gifts or the promise of trash removal. You know why? 'Cos women are smart. They know they have something that we want, and they are not about to give it up without a fight. We men would like to think that we have something that women want. That may be, but they will never admit it. Let's face it, we don't look good or smell good and our table manners are appalling. Why would anyone want to go to bed with us?

Researchers should be spending taxpayers' money on more worthwhile causes such as why men leave the toilet seat up or why women's bums look big in certain garments. Females will never get the animal urges that males do until we can introduce them to our old friend Testos O'Rone.
