What about the Cote D'Azur - Nice, Eze, Beaulieu Sur Mer...
Or somewhere in Italy - Lake Garda or Venice?

Is the weather in Cote D'Azur around April/May not a bit crazy?

Sands Beach - Costa Teguise - Lanzarote.

Stayed here in January for two weeks and it was amazing. We stayed in a beach front apartment, with our own private beach right on our doorstep. Lovely decking area on front of apartment which includes sun loungers and table and chairs.

The apartment itself was huge. Had seperate kitchen, sitting room and lovely size bedrooms. Also included exta little touches like bathrobes and slippers in the bathrooms.

The place itself was spotless. I really could not fault anything about here.

It should be mid 20s - I didn't realise you were looking to go in April/May?

Yes sorry - it probably would have helped if I told you that. 20degrees is plenty hot for my Irish complexion.
