Jap Import - Toyota Celica

Hi, Im thinking of buying a Toyota celica vvlt-i. Most of these models are Jap imports. Ive spotted a few with quite low milege for a 8-9 year old reg. One of my mates said to be wary of these cars as alot of them could be clocked. Anyone bought one of these cars b4 and have any advice on buying a jap import? Cheers, Rui7

Hi,
