He said recently that he's been bipolar for about ten years. He showed up at a ROH show in a sort of a bad state and they said they wouldn't be using him. He said that they treated him like a drug abuser when really he has a medical condition that he can't help. He says they owe him for shows that he didn't work, they say they don't

He's a very talented guy. I hope that he gets sorted out

Ah right jesus thats not right because roh have only had a handle full of great managers and he certainly was one of them.
Heres hoping hes sorted and back in roh soon!!

This is kinda sad to read. The guy basically suffers from a disorder that he has little or no control over, where he has to hand money hand over fist to try and control it.

Irks me with the lack of compassion some of our posters have here. Especially when it comes to stuff like this, where clearly some of you don't have the faintest idea what bipolar disorder is (looking at you jeffk and DieselQueen), i'd suggest actually doing two minutes of research on it, rather than immediate judgment. To refer to a medical condition as a "demon" is a bit on the harsh side. Twisted humour is one thing, twisted judgment is another.

Nothing personal guys, but this just reminds me of the Verne Gagne post from a couple of months back.

Back on Sweeney, hope he can get himself sorted, because as Bubs said, he could be gone in a year if this keeps up.

I said was it a demon as in when wwe say he has demons also known as he was on drugs
I also said i did not know his back story and not sure of the rules so didnt wanna say oh ole larry sweeney another wrestler on drugs is it?

So you can look @ me all you like cause i know i didnt slag or make "Twisted humour" one bit

Sure, which is why we didn't see you for months before I was even made mod.
Feel free to discuss any beef with me if you really are worried about being banned via PM.

But the chances are if you're that nervous about it, then it's pretty much self admission that you're out of order.

I feel really sad for Larry. Beyond doubt one of the finest managers of last decade. I would hate to see him leave the business because we need managers in wrestling

I think Larry's real problem is that he voluntarily decided to stop taking his meds despite being urged strongly to the contrary by his doctors, which is a really bad idea for anyone with bipolar disorder(and i speak as someone who both works with and has had people I know personally affected by it).

Whether that decision is one that he is even capable of making is really for no one to say, but at the very least its an ill informed and ill fated choice and that blog and the youtube footage thats all over the net are evidence as to why he should start taking them again ASAP.

In hindsight my initial post in the tread was a bit flippant and overly harsh, but the sentiment is pretty much the same: he needs to start listening to his doctors and fast, because these things have a habit of ending up very messily, especially in the wrestling industry.

So at least hes not gonna disappear from the business altogether cos of this

If he's working for Ian Rotten, he might as well be. Given Sweeney's psychological condition, Ian Rotten is probably not the best guy to be calling the shots.
