    I'm looking to hire a car(4 adults and small child) from Faro airport for 10 days in Sept. I've looked at Hertz and they seem a little expensive(€500). Has anyone have suggestions on other cheaper companies

    What car is that quote for? TBH a Megane or a Focus estate is going to be quite a squeeze for 4 adults plus 1 child, esp if the child needs a booster seat.

    I booked a car last April at Faro Airport through Club Argus with the rental company Cartrawler. it was for 8 days for €167. i got a brand new Opel Astra Automatic for that price...i thought this was a bargain to other prices i got!
    and they told me my boyfriend could drive the car aswell at no extra cost though they didnt even check if he had a licence...which he doesnt!

    I check quite a few but I think it was an Avensis
