West Cork Cottage

Hubby and I are looking for a cottage to rent in West Cork (preferably Castletownshend/Baltimore/Glandore areas) for the first week in August (1 - 8 August)... however, budget is limited (isn't everything these days) and the places I can find on the net are higher than we have. We're spending 2 weeks down there already and this is an add-on week because we're celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. Anyone know of anything nice?

I'd say email the places - you'll probably get a better deal than advertised.
    Try dreamireland, discoverireland & selfcateringireland.

Thanks for the input - all emailed, all way too expensive! I've trawled through everything I can find. I guess it's a weekend break to somewhere instead! It'll teach me to book the extra week even if I'm not sure - I can always cancel it after!!!

Not sure if you've checked this already, but daft do holiday homes.
I had a quick look just now and 2 in castletownhend 300 and 350.
    best of luck!

Thanks Ellejay, I had a look see and whilst they'd be great prices for us as they stand, the prices all go up massively for August (of course!). But good idea all the same and thanks for that.
