Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop

    Is the Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop a good laptop to buy second hand??? And without using Ebay, does anyone know where else I could get one???

    I'll tryed this laptop in UCD when I was working in the college for a year and liked it.

    They are a fine laptop, brother has one, last of the Centrino range before they went Dualcore. Avoid the Celeron models, they are a pig with games & file crunching. I have the 9400 version, looks very similar but is Core Duo.

    In that case it'd be a good buy, if the spec is right, it should last you. I have the 6400 which is the newer version of the 6000, not much difference at all in design and it's lasted/lasting the test of time. 3+ years at this stage. Typing on it now btw:pac:

    I'd be looking at adverts.ie and the likes buy and sell etc. I'd definitely want to see it before parting with cash. And confirm it works.
