    boobs.

Don't know what it is, I came off the contraceptive injection around November time, the hormone will probably be out of my system soon as it can take 6-12 months, so I am not sure if this is causing it. It has been for a few months I think, can't really remember when it started but I have also put a bit of weight on generally so I thought they went bigger because of that also.

Some mornings are really bad, they feel heavy and swollen...other times not so bad. If my boyfriend wants to 'play', they hurt too much for him to do so. I had a sharp pain in one before, can't seem to find lumps or anything. They are just bigger and tender.

What do you think it could be? :(

Painful/tender breasts are a common symptom of PMT. If you're really worried you should go to a doctor to be on the safe side.

Thank you for the reply, I was hoping so much it would be PMT but as it has gone on for a few months and not having had a period for over a year due to the injection, I was at a loss what to think. It isn't a symptom of anything serious like cancer is it?

Hopefully not but go to your doctor and get them to examine you.

Hopefully nothing serious. Only a medical professional can give you an answer.

We can't give medical advice on this site.

    Please go to your gp.
