Online Tournament Fixtures Part Two

Ok so here is the second set of fixtures for the second Boards.ie online tournament.

Here are the rules for the games, make sure to read them all carefully!

• You must organise a time with your opponent to play your game by posting in this thread and sending PM's
• Where possible you should post in this thread what time you are playing at so anyone who wants to watch may do so.
• All scores must be posted in this thread by midnight Sunday night
• You must try your best to get your game played by this time limit as we don't want a backlog of fixtures. Forfeits will be handed out if you take too long to play
• All matches are to be best of ten legs meaning it can be a 5-5 draw
• You should throw for the Bull or one dart highest score to see who throws first
• YOU DO NOT PLAY ALL TEN LEGS UNLESS IT GOES TO 5-5. ONCE SOMEONE WINS 6 THE GAME IS OVER
• You may use either exchalk or DartPro to play your game

That is the best I've ever played but I never got a chance! I averaged around 84 or 85 and Ste must of averaged about 88 or so!

I won that 6-4, scappy match did not play well at all hard luck mate you started off with a very high average but fell away as the match went on.

I lost internet access for about 10 mins dont know how that happened, sorry again about that.

Dont worry about it, can happen to us all.

I just couldnt get them doubles. The 108 checkout actually put me off a bit aswell, not sure what it is but that always happens when i hit a big finish.

You played some good stuff, always leaving yourself a handy finish unlike myself

Good game, I never really got going, averaged 55 which is okay, but should be at 60..still wouldn't be good enough to compete with CB mind

Note: dartpro is definitely way better than ezchalk if anyone has the option.

Indeed. I'd imagine anyone who was unfortunate enough to decide to watch that is hoping for a visit from The Men in Black to rid themselves of the memory.

Still I'd have taken a draw before hand. You started like a train in the first leg, the missed a few doubles, which seemed to get to you a bit. I started awful and then had a few decent legs in the middle before going to bits altogether at 4-3 up. It really was poor, I think highest finish was 96 and I hit about 5 140's. The bits between were dreadful.

I thought I played very poor. Scoring was pretty bad, average was 67.65. Best leg was 15 darts and only hit 4 x 100+ and 3 x 140+. Hit my doubles and that got me out of trouble.

great game davb, i think if this doesnt get better soon i may end up pulling out of this tournament, throwing there was soooo painful, throwing the dart is ok, its bringing the arm down and up with the dart that is killing me KILLING ME

you and me both mate, its not affecting my actual throwing so far, i seem to throw good darts there in that match, its just up and down getting the darts from the other hand, wincing every time

i have a team semi final on friday and i simply HAVE to play that, i have no choice in the matter, this should be interesting

for those wondering about the average, in giving the darts back to davb i typed 6000 instead of 0,0,0, the games score remained unaffected, but the avg jumped up for some reason

Why don't you use your holding hand to lift the dart up to your throwing hand, if nothing else it'll put your opponent off for your semi??

because ironically, the problem is in both shoulders, it started on my right shoulder 2 weeks ago, but seems to have spread to my left shoulder

im taking nurofen coz it has anti-inflam in it, but no joy after 2 days of it, it might be a recurrence of tendonitus i had 6 years ago

I was playing on Ezchalk against Davb

i went to give the darts back to Davb after the change of sets and instead of entering 0 0 0 i entered 6000, this score got ignored by the game we were playing but for some reason it affected the averages

thus i had an average of 168

just another bug for Ezchalk to fix
