Alone and confused

    hi, first time posting so allow for mistakes. with my bf for 5 years. found out 6 weeks ago i was pregnant. my bf said he was over moon etc so we planned a holiday away which went great etc. we're back over a week and two days after being back my bf was in a cranky mood etc and hasnt made contact with me since last wednesday. finally got through to him saturday to which he told me he was p***ed off over a few things, that id only be annoying him if he was in contact with me and just to leave him alone! Found out through a friend then that he's been out on d raz all weekend, like he hasn't a care in the world
    Over the course of the last 5 years he has often gotten like this with me.
    I haven't heard from him yet, my first scan is tomorrow week to which i dont know if il be facing it on my own yet....... please help me as to what i should do

    So he doesn't live with you then....and he is blowing hot and cold on you and this is a pattern over the last 5 years....?

    It sounds to me like he has mixed feelings about the pregnancy and this large commitment.

    Also, have you two spoken about the future and decided what the plan is?
    What has been discussed....

    It sounds like he is freaking out over the pregnancy... That or he thinks he can treat you how he likes now he thinks he has you 'trapped'.

    You need to concentrate on looking after yourself and your little one that is growing inside you. I am sorry for your situation, I hope he comes to his senses soon :rolleyes:

    Yeah, when it happens to me, i can see myself going off the rails a bit. I often think about the changes i am going to have to make in my life when i find out about having a child.

    But itll be grand. Dont worry, he will probably come around. If not, well give him a piece of your mind and see what he does.
