A big thanks to all who took part and helped out at the first leg of the Harbour House Summer league on Saturday. It was great day, made all the better by the fabulous weather.

The first week’s events were a WA1500 60 shot Open Match plus the second (surprise :D) discipline was Archery. The overall league leaders after the first week are
    • Mike Nestor (Ballyhoura) - Open Match 566/600, Archery 358/600
    • Jim Bradley (Phoenix)- Open Match 532/600, Archery 378/600
    • Keith Kelly (Harbour House) - Open Match 522/600, Archery 354/600
The highest individual score in the Open Match was posted by Rex Ho, 577/600 and the highest individual score in the Archery was posted by Toby O’Brien 408/600.

The full results sheet will be published on www.harbourhouseshooting.com in due course.

We also ran a Man V. Man Steel Challenge, which was a stand-alone competition and not part of the league. This was won by Matt Mc Parland (Harbour House), with second place going to Paul Flanagan (Phoenix).

The second part of the league will be held on Saturday 16 May at Harbour House. More details will be posted nearer the time.

Yes indeed, a great day was had by all. With fierce competition between Ballyhoura, Harbour House, Midlands and Phoenix, and a well deserved first place for Mike Nestor who has put Ballyhoura in pole position.

What a fine display of accuracy and speed from Matt Mc Parland, who took the first of the Summer League Steel Challenge medals. But is this the first of many…

If you didn’t make it to Saturdays event, not to worry, just make sure to compete in the next three events. Best three out of four combined event scores count for the big prizes.
