No hesitation go to Kusadasi. Its a great spot and you have to enjoy it. The Turks are very hospitable with good sense of humour. I believe Sunset Plaza has had a big makeover, some friends are going there soon. Been to the Palmin a couple of times and I've seen the Plaza also Sea Pearl. No problems with any of them. Last time there was in Sarays restaurant when Turkey won a match in the world cup. Still have the video of the waiters dancing the Conga, unbelieveable. Plenty of nightlife there if thats your scene, lots of history, Ephesus is incredible, bring a camera.

    Hi Buttercup!

I stayed in the Palmin Sunset Plaza for a week in 2009 and it was great! Lovely rooms, very clean etc. Pool was great and it didn't feel overcrowded like other places I've been to during peak season. Entertainment every night, and good food in the hotel too if you don't feel like venturing out to the town. We always got a taxi from the hotel to the town, but it was very cheap.

I've stayed in Palmin Sunset Plaza couple of times - July 2012 last visit. I love it there. It's more along the lines of an apartment complex with seperate blocks surrounding the pool, but you have all the comfort and amenities of a 4* hotel. The food is really good, the staff are great and the sea views are amazing. They have some really good entertainment - Turkish night, Synchronised swimming, Fire eating show, etc. I will definitely be going back.
