Hi haven't put a photo up in ages so thought would try this one! 400D with kit lens.

Heavy PP going for an aged look!

    Thanks!

Love the look, could be anywhere but I will hazard a guess with Barbados.

Oh, clean the dust spots too ;):D

Damn never noticed the dust spots!

And by the way it is actually the Dominican Republic!

Nice photo, looks like a real paradise getaway. I think your image needs to be warmed up a bit (or is it my screen?), it looks like it has a bit of a cyan cast. Adding a bit of yellow or red might help. There's a strange kind of halo around the trees against the blue sky, you need to work on your masking. Did you use the selection tool and then feather and edit in levels? Rather than making a selection, try adding a layer and do a graduated overlay starting from the horizon going skyward. Set the new layer blending mode to overlay and experiment with the layer opacity to get the desired effect. You should see an improvement. You could also use this as a method to improve the blue saturation rather than using the selection tool.

BTW I was being tongue in cheek when correcting about the location!

Anyway the photo above was underexposed to start with so Ive decided to abandon that ship and show something else in a similar vein but which was correctly exposed.

    Thanks!
