    Hello,

I was trying to find the thread about WWE belts where someone listed the place in the UK that they bought them from. But I can't find the thread.

Does anyone know the name of the store? It's something like the wrestlingshop?? It's not the official WWE one. Instead the one that often sends a note with your purchase etc.

    Thanks,

The wrestling store in Stephens Green shopping centre in Dublin does replica belts as far as I know.

KKV will be able to provide you with all sorts of info though, this kind of thing is his specialty, I'm sure he will be along shortly to help you out :)

Retail in Dublin wise, you've two options to my knowledge.

There's Wrestling Mania in Stephens Green, they won't have a lot on display but they can order them in in both adult and kids sizes.

There's a wrestling shop in Artane shopping centre if you're northside based. That said, i've only ever walked passed by it without going in so i dunno if he can get belts in, or what they charge.

Internet wise, you may be able to save a few bucks, but as orestes says, KKV is the guy to ask for all thing Merch.
(i knew we didn't permaban that guy for a good reason! ;) )

Yeah I remember KKV posted a detailed message ages ago about buying belts but for the life of me I can't find it. I'm probably going to go with an internet order if I decide to buy one. Just wanted to get the web address of that place that they mentioned before.

You asked this very same question last July (the search option is your friend, my friend ;) ) Fozzy directed you to this link.

I can't remember the exact address but I used the site KKV recommended and they were very good. Ordered on a Sunday night and had it by Tuesday evening. I'd definitely use them again.

Found the address thanks to Shawns post. Yeah, search is usually my friend but it was my enemy today.

Kind of wish I'd ordered the Classic Winged Eagle belt a few months ago. I'm pretty sure it was £179 sterling and now its £229 I think. Flip sake, I want the classic winged eagle, classic intercontinental, current intercontinental, attitude era world belt and world heavyweight belt :)

www.highspots.com is your best bet, or ebay them, depending on where you buy them from you can pick one up relatively cheap, I paid €100 plus 20 shipping for my Attitude Era belt, its the one with the WWF logo on it as well so the guy had no idea what he was selling, bought my Undisputed one on ebay and my World Heavyweight one at Wrestlemania 23, are you looking for the standard or deluxe versions?

When was there ever a WWE Attitude Era belt?

EDIT: Or is it one that they make now and they can't put WWF on it?

Yea, they started making the attitude era belt with a WWE logo back in 2002. I tried to track down a WWF version on ebay a couple of years ago. I think that was the auction where a guy by the name of krudler beat me, I assume it was our very own krudler.

Cheers, but it's the old WWF version I've always been after.

I can't really add anything to that really. The site i mentioned (and still recommend) is wrestlingworld.co.uk. They were fantastic.

I have my own kinda picture reference site with a small amount of replica belts on it if it's any use to you:

    http://loosejakks.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=adultreplicabelts

There's not a whole lot on it though.

I re-read my comment that SR linked to above, and i still agree with everything i posted. Can't think of anything eles to add, except best of luck.

    Me too.

But this one was cheaper at the time and the story behind getting it is a good one so im unsure about if i will let it go or not.

Have to say, out of some of the best replicas, the current world tag team (red) belts are pretty awesome.
Same to be said for the spinner, i know it looks kinda weird on telly and that, it is a pretty dam cool feel to hold.

I would love to get the rated R spinner, got a look of it in WM once, and the detail is much much more than any of the attitude era belt replicas.

KKV, how much was the belt silver end thats on that page?

Also, Grandmaster, it's probably worth emailing WrestlingWorld asking if they have any upcoming offers or anything. I was in two minds about getting the US Spinner belt off them before, but one morning i went on to check the overall price including shipping, and I noticed they knocked 20% off the price because it was costing more than €150 (or something like that). I bought it there and then (the offer was for 48 hours only I think).

So it's handy if they have something like that coming up, they may let you know. They might not have anything on, but it's no harm to ask.

    EDIT:

That's it there. Cost me less at the time cos i bought a few wall hangers with it.

For you? Probably not. It does look nice on a belt, but i don't think the Big Eagle belt ever had a tip (be it gold or silver).

The only reason i bought the silver one was because they added it to the WWE Spinner belt, and i wanted it to be a little more accurate.

I think KKV or someone was saying to never buy anything from WWE EuroShop. In that case, where would you recommend to buy stuff like t-shirts from online?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,199 ✭✭✭G-Money

Ok, I took the plunge and bought the Winged Eagle WWF belt. I have to agree with other posters who have used Wrestling World, they were very good. They are actually based in the north which I didn't know. I ordered online over the weekend and there was an issue with my order (stupid online billing system was complaining that the delivery address was the north but the card was from the south and it had been ordered from an IP address in the south). But they phoned me up first thing on the Monday morning and we sorted it out. They even said they had the order all packed and ready to go and just needed to sort out this issue. So we did and the belt was shipped and it arrived one or two days later.

It looks quite nice. Kind of makes you wish you were the WWF champion for real :)

I just need to avoid starting to buy a few other belts as they are so nice. I still like the classic and current intercontinental, the attitude era belt, the spinner and the World Heavyweight Belt.

Glad you had a good experience with them GrandMaster. I've yet to hear a bad thing so i'm quite happy about that.

Also glad you're happy with the belt. They're a fantastic piece of merchandise. Probably the best, in my opinion.

As for WWE shirts; If it's old stuff from the WWF days you're after, you can't beat a good mooch on RWB's ebay store (Replica Wrestling Belts. Despite the name though, he's no good for belts when it comes to international customers).

I recently bought a few jerseys, shirts, etc. and when i bought a few things it worked out at approximately €4 per shirt/jersey, which wasn't bad at all i thought (considering the stuff is brand new. It's not dustym faded or worn or anything). He's in the US, so it's only worth buying from him if you're buying a lot of stuff. He usually has sales on MMA/UFC/TNA stuff too though.

For new and current day shirts, i really don't know where to go. I'd recommend checking out anywhere and everywhere and comparing the prices. I never really bought any brand new shirts online (usually got them from Wrestling Mania or at a Point/O2 show).

WWEShop.com are apparently a little hassl to deal with if you're outside the US, but, from what i understand, their shipping charges are calculated depending on how much you spend. According to a few guys i talk to online, this is a fantastic thing when it comes to wrestling figures (due to their size, they can work out expensive to ship, but with WWE's way of working out shipping, because figures aren't as expensive as other merchandise, it works out great). Don't know how this would work with shirts or anything else though.

TOPPS/WWEEuroshop's eBay store ususally have some bizarre bits and bobs for sale, too. Decent prices, too:

I don't wanna sound like a killjoy here, but if you're worried about the funds not being great, why is a replica belt even a consideration with a child on the way?

    Credit crunch? What credit crunch?!
