    How are things?

Any idea of a working betting system for baseball that has shown profit for last few years?

I saw one which suggests following home underdogs in divisional games which seems interesting....

Betting on baseball is very difficult to turn a profit at and the variance involved is very large. There is no 'system' that will work. The only way to make a profit is to weigh up the chance of the result coming up against the price being offered and if you think you have an edge, make the bet. Broad stuff like the method you suggest won't work, unless a particular bookmaker consistently prices these games incorrectly, which they wont.

It's impossible to have a betting system for baseball, it's impossible to bet on baseball, there's nothing to stop a team from scoring 7, 8 or 9 runs in one inning. I followed the Red Sox on the road and at home for 3 years and have extensive knowledge of the game, it's just not a sport to bet on, keep your fazzo's for something else.

    or 14 :)

I wouldn't spend a penny betting on baseball. While the end standings can be somewhat predictable, individual games can vary way too much.

I bet on a team to win over first 5 innings when a pitcher I like is starting.

    R Halladay, Z Greinke, J Santana, C Lee, Dice-K (ahem...8.something ERA and no wins...I know) etc

Not a solid system by any means but it's ok, baseball is really not a gambling sport.
