    Hi,

I broke my wife's k750i and I need to replace it with as similar a handset as possible in terms of form + function.
    Any recommendations?

    +1.

The K800i is/was the successor to the K750i.

k800i is a great phone, even though it's a couple of years old at this stage. One of the best camera phones to date.

Unless you get an expensive phone most smaller phones don't have autofocus so it's hard to find something similar

Does it have to Sony And does it have to have autofocus

Try ebay and see if you can just get another k750i :)

Otherwise the w810i was pretty much the same as it, an old phone now though too.

  • upgrade her to the C902..

Its an excellent step up from the k750i without being overly complicated

    It's a lot slower navigating menu's etc.

I had a k750i and went to a w810i which I still have. Great phone.

I like the W705 but no autofocus. Sony Ericsson W995 maybe?

k800i is not available anymore unless you buy 2nd hand.

The K770i would be the direct replacement of it and is still available

I would say try the C902 or perhaps a few of W series also.

The 902 looks like a great phone. I didn't like the slider for the camera or the angles keys on the number pad. But it has a great spec.

You'll find it pretty hard to get your hands on a new K800 at this stage.. great camera phone though.

Or the new C510. Using it now to type this, top phone and pretty cheap. €139 on O2 pre pay.

K800.pretty much the best fone I've ever had....and I've had a few.Serious fone and pretty much indestructable and I know cause I tried to destruct on many occasions including driving over it in a 2ton jeep. Its still more or less working and my son uses it.

    Thanks all,

C902 was what I got in the end, seemed to be the closest new generation successor to her old phone. It was well received ;-)
