I'd say almost definitely a 7 as I used to own 6955 ZC which was Feb 72. Refer to Carcheologist for Month, Day, Hour, type of pen used to fill in log book, breed of dog of first owner, etc, etc.

It was I that supplied the data to both of the above named and seeing that neither is available tonight, here is the answer.
1 ZA was issued on 6/71 - 9999 ZA 10/71, so a good guess for 6624 ZA would be Aug/Sept 71.
