Summer Ball on a Thursday??

    Just saw on the life.dcu.ie website that the summer ball is supposed to be on the 30th?! Is that right? I presumed it would be on the Wednesday of week 12 as it always is? Also it says that it is supposed to be starting at 11? Can anyone confirm?

    There's only so far u can drag the cowboy theme out... at least superhero was a bit unique and exciting...

    Was I delusional or did I see a sign in the hub yesterday saying that girls couldn't wear high-heels to the summer ball for some reason? Coulda been in the SU office. :P

    No, you did see a sign saying so. There's something with the floor in the Venue that makes high heels unsuitable, and possibly dangerous...

    everyone will look ridiculous in their summer gear when it's pis*in down on top of them. for christ's sake, can't ye just go with the flow and wear the hat and boots............which by the way nearly everyone i've spoken to is wearing!!!! Same thing year in year out with everyone wearing the hula skirts and floral shorts!!! you'll look sweet in yer minis and flip flops on a buckin' broncho!

    i cant believe people are being so anti change, jeez, ok a beach theme would be cool and summery but its been done the past 3yrs in a row.just this once people could try out sumthin different. check shirts& denim r a bit fun for a change from hawaiian flower shirts/shorts/necklaces etc.
