I just dyed my hair for the first time in, well way over 10 years & I was wondering what's the best colour care shampoo & conditioner (optional) on the market at the moment?

I did buy & use Head & Shoulders but was a bit scared when the lather turned into my hair colour straight away. The hair also looks noticeably 'lighter' after that experience...

Johnson's Baby Shampoo or L'Oreal Elvive Shampoo & Conditioner for coloured hair.....all great!

I totally agree - whatever you do, don't use head and shoulders as it will lift your colour:)

Kerastase (fushia coloured bottle) the shampoo for coloured hair and matching conditioner. Fab stuff.. Pricey mind but you only need a 10cent sized amount of shampoo for each lather and same of conditioner. So if you hide your shampoo and conditioner from any other bathroom users it should last you a long time.;)

    Thanks you guys. :)
I'm on my way to town anyway so I will look out for these products.

As for the head & shoulders, yeah I will leave that for my guy to finish.
He's not the dying kind :p

Aussie do a great shampoo and conditioner for colour - usually 2 for €9 in Boots!

There are so many products for coloured hair it's impossible to recommend just one. I'd say buy anything that's specifically for coloured hair, Boots have loads around €9, then there's the salon versions around €20 and the more expensive Kerastase, etc. I'd recommend getting a treatment/mask in any brand and using that once a week.
