    Anyone using Eircom e-mail notice their new banner promoting their Motoring section and which shows smoke coming out of the front of an old Beetle? Clearly nobody told the marketing gurus where the engine was!

    Probably dodgy 6-volt electrics. Had a '66 sloping headlights Beetle about 18 years ago. Bought it for £20 as a resto. Sold it for £200 dismantled and absolutely rotten. Those were the days.
