Hey all
we are a world percussion & song group that also have dancers. samba/west african dance rhythms & song etc. we are based in Munster and could anyone recommend venues around Munster or further afield that would be interested in this sort of music.

the ideal venues that suit us to date are more intimate in size and have a dance floor , that get a crowd who are open to this and want to dance and ideally have a few drinks in them. ( utopia for any band i hear you say ) but its not everyones cup of tea. There seems to be a vast difference between towns and attitudes and with recession in full swing a lot of venues we approach take the " we get a crowd with a dj so why bother taking any risk"..... any leads or recommendations really appreciated. we have a myspace page but PM me for it as i dont want to get done for pimping.
