Saw this a while ago and thought it was deadly http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0857376/ Has anybody seen this? I heard its part one of a trilogy has anybody heard any rumour of when the sequel is?

Saw 5 minutes of it and thought it was utter crap.

Saw it ages ago and really liked it. There were plans for a sequel but I think they have now been scrapped, Andy Whitfield who played Gabriel has signed on to play Spartacus int he new Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert tv show so he'll be busy with that for the next while. I really don't see the need for a sequel tbh as the film wraps things up pretty nicely and a sequel would more than likely alienate the original fan base much like the Matrix sequels.

Agh well I suppose it probably would be a forced script seen as how it ended! Would still like to see another in the same genre! Any suggestons apart from the prophecy?

Its kind of different but I liked Gabriel so you might like Legend of the Overfiend Series.Its anime and kinda graphic but its got an apocalyptic theme to it and imo one of the best stories ever. It covers every thing from the destruction of the old order to the birth of the new.There was a tv series called Fallen a while back on abc that deals with angels and stuff.Pretty light but not too bad if you can get past the talking dog, some of the fight scenes are good and the angels are done very well.
