    How's it going everyone?

    Just wondering can someone help me out.

    Firstly where is the ABS ECU? I believe its Behind fusebox cover (OBD II Port) is this correct?

    How do I get to it? Is it just as simple as removing the fusebox cover and there it'll be?

    And does anyone have the spec for it? Both wiring & what all the pins are for?

    The speedo on my car is working intermintantly so from what research I have done it appears the ECU may have a faulty connection or a wire is loose etc.

    Hope someone can send me in the right direction.

    Get a diagnostics check done on it.

    I also have a '00 Megane with an intermittent speedo. It stopped working completely for a few weeks, and then last night it sprung into life and I was 155mph on the M50.

    I heard from the local renault garage that the speedo is calculated from the ABS ECU as you said above.

    btw, do I need a working speedo to pass the NCT?! In other words, is there a test they have to do that would lead them to see that it wasn't working ...
