    Hi

I'm thinking of bringing my wife and daughter to the costa del sol in september for a holiday. My daughter will be 19 months old by then.

Has anyone been there and would they recommend it for a family holiday. If you could recommend a hotel or apartment to stay that would be great.

I stayed in Torremolinos in the Bajondillo apts a few years ago and i really enjoyed it and would definitly go back again. It has a nice beach, nice old town and it possible to visit many other nice places from being based in Torremolinos-we went on day trips to Rhonda, Marbella, and Puerto Banus. Oh and the apts were very nice aswell

Benalmadena or Torremolinos as they are long established family holiday locations but for something nicer try Marbella or Nerja. Marbella is just lovely and smart and Nerja has a sense of the real Spain. Not especially family friendly but it's gorgeous.
