Anyone familiar with the Wicklow 200/100 routes will know what this is about. Coming back from Rathdrum on the Tomriland road towards Roundwood, there's this magnificently-bolted and durable sign outside someone's gaff, advertising for the last number of years that the denizen within is desirous of parting with his air compressor. I can't remember a time it wasn't there. Every cyclist must know it. I wonder if every rider on this year's W200/100 contributes a 25c 'air compressor levy', we could finally take it off his hands!

It's like a landmark, always know you 're not far from Roundwood and coffee when you see it
