    Hi,

Was in Tunisia in November for a week.Stayed in Port al Kantoui. One of the most popular places for tourists.Great beach, fabulous hotel choice and a beautiful harbour area with restaurants and coffee shops. Its a relaxing holiday and the people are friendly.Bear in mind its not a rich country and you will see examples of extreme poverty outide the tourist areas.A trip to the Capital of Tunis is worthwhile taking in the old Phoenician ruins in Carthage.

There are a lot of golf courses(if thats what you are into).Nightlife as in clubbing is a bit thin on the ground but most hotels have one attached.Drink is freely available to guests in the hotels but local population are Muslims so dont drink themselves.Food was plentiful and fatastic.Be prepared for haggling in the markets and try to pick up some linen.I reckon most tourists stay in hotels as apartment blocks as such dont exist in the same way as you would see in Spain.

It is a nice place and felt safe and relaxing.Enjoy.
