Leinster v Munster - where to watch in Cherbourg?

    Hi all,

    Probably a long shot, but here's hoping!

    We're sailing to France at the start of May, and will be docking in Cherbourg at almost the exact time of kick-off in the Leinster v Munster game. Does anybody by any chance know of a pub/hotel/anything in Cherbourg that's got Sky Sports where we might have some hope of watching the game?

    All help much appreciated!

    Doubt you'll find too much help here..that's a long shot alright!!

    Why don't you google Cherbourg + hotel or bar or pub and contact them directly, better yet, there websites may advertise as having sky sports etc. ... then find it's proximaty to where you dock, have a taxi booked in advance and jump off the boat jump into the taxi, engine already running, and get to the pub for the game you mad man!! :eek:

    It'll be on French TV (France 2) and if a telly is on anywhere they'll be showing the match. I doubt you'll have any problems in a town the size of Cherbourg.
