Just a tip for you if you are going in to sign on for jobseekers allowance
You will need your long version of your birth cert
Photo ID,eg passport or drivers licence
Your PPS no
Your P45
A bill showing your home address
was in last week with my son and after waiting for 4 hours found he did not have these things so had to go back again
So when i saw your question thought i would pass it on to you
