    Hi,

Im looking for some help. Being going to the gym and playing soccer relatively healthy eating etc since Sept last year.

Started off mainly gym 2-3 times a week cv and some light weights machines. Have since cut down gym to once a week with 2 hours of 5 a side soccer during the week. Also walk to work 50 mins and home when not going to gym or soccer

Also started doing some stomach exercises.....sort of press up position and holding for 45 secs and same on both sides think its called core exercises

Was 15st+, now 14ish and I cant shift the spare tyre round my stomach. I have lost more fat as my legs are more toned than they were but cant get rid of the weight on my stomach.

    Diet is pretty much as follows;

    Breakfast:

    Special K and orange Juice:

    Lunch:

Brown Bread, turkey ham and cheese

    Evening:

Omelette wih 3 eggs ham and cheese

Have the odd club milk/banana before football/gym but not every day

Weekend would be more relaxed but would try and have eggs for breakfast at least once over the w/e, but would have the usual Sunday family dinner with dessert on a Sunday, and the odd pint/chinese etc but not every w/e.

Are ther supplements or is it just a matter of tweaking diet/exercise a wee bit?

    Thanks

I don't think you should look for supplements for that purpose. I'd say it's just a matter of your diet really. Special K, for instance, isn't great. Maybe eating 5 small meals a day might also help.

Also, the chinese would want to be a fairly odd occurence for that diet to get results. As would the club milks and deserts.

By all means, you should allow yourself a treat day once a week where you relax on what you eat, and indulge in desert etc. However, in order to justify that, you need to make sure your diet is otherwise clean. So while none of them are detrimental on their own, add them all together, and you end up undoing any good work you otherwise do during the week.

You should keep track fo exactly what you eat, whether mentally or on paper. You'd be amazed how quickly the odd club milk adds up to a pack over the week.

Generally wouldnt during the week and wouldnt b drinking every w/e either

Is there anything in my diet that I should be replacing/eliminating apart from the chocolate? I try to eat as much protein as possible, this being the reason for turkey cheese etc
