Ford Mondeo Airbag light

when i turn the engine on the Airbag light comes on for a few seconds. it flashes on and off. my jacket was on the seat at the time. does anyone know what it means? cheers for the replies:D

Are you sure it wasnt the Seatbelt light.

The weight of the jacket may have triggered the sensor but it changed once assessed it was not body weight.

2004- apparantly its just to say the airbags are working! do you know anything about the slight vibration in the clutch when you accelerate? i've tried my friends mondeo and he has the same issue, but its not as bad in his as his clutch has a better spring in it.
