Common Lizard

Our cat brought in an injured lizard yesterday which we are holding onto as it's side is punctured and it has an injured back leg. It perked up a lot today and drank some water and although the kids have supplied it with a number of different insects we're not too sure if it ate any.

Does anyone know what they eat or have any advice as to how to help it recover?

    Thanks
