We had booked a holiday home in St Jean de Monts for a week in July and to my horror received an email today from the owner who says she has sold it!! We're now stuck for somewhere to stay and I'm looking for personal recommendations for accomodation in the town/surrounding area before I hit www.holiday-rentals.co.uk or the like. We'd prefer a house/villa as the boss loves to barbeque those fantastic French sausages. We have 4 children so we need at least 2 bedrooms. Merci!

would you consider a cottage style mobile home? u could get a good deal on a big 3 bedroomed one in Clarys Plage, you usually get a BBQ (for the sausages :) ) & decking with them 2. We've gone with a great company for the last few yrs & the kids love the campsite, which is always a good thing. PM me for details if you like. not sure if i can post their name on here.

Thanks for that, I'd love the details. Clarys Plage seems excellent from what I've heard.
