If my car has been lying up for YEARS and is about 6 years out of NCT how do I go about getting it tested?

Book a test. Theres not much more to it than that.

I would also get it serviced beforehand - (6?) years is a long time to leave a car sitting and I would be surprised if parts hadn't perished over time.

I plan to have have it serviced first and am sure something will fail, but can sort that when I am sure what it is.
I wasnt sure, if the NCT lapses within the 2 years you only get whatever time it should have been due again.....So wasnt sure as its SO out of date.

    Thanks
