What should I do?

I was at a psychic person today for a bit of fun really. And for a bit of an insight into my life as i am so lost in it. She came out with alot of numbers which meant something to me. Some numbers in my date of birth and even my mother's date of birth which was weird. And also alot of letters which was meant to represent names. I thought it was fairly odd as a psychic giving me letters rather than full names.

But anyway, she said that there was a guy i work with i should get to know more. There was this guy i always fancied at work alright and she gave me a couple of letters of his name. And she was right in the way how she described him. Then she followed by saying il be married in seven years. So im not sure if im meant to be marrying him or not.

I have fancied him for so long and to scared to do anything about it that i gave up on him. To scared to do anything about it cause i have been told by friends that he was already seeing someone.

I have always been fairly quiet/shy around men i really like, so i am afraid to even start a conversation with him. It wouldn't be to bad to start something but there are the most nosiest people working with us. Its very hard with them around so we rarely get a chance alone. But when it happens, he does talk to me but i am scared to follow up and keep the conversation up and i go quiet fairly quickly. A couple of times he has even left his his hand on my elbow while talking and this is coming from a quiet type of lad that keeps to himself. I intend on getting over my fear and get talking to him more and see if anything happens. But how do i do it when he is already seeing someone else? I know there is nothing wrong with talking but i dont want to steal someone else's man?

Should i leave this alone and give up on him again???

She didn't say to date him or that you would marry him. She merely said maybe get to know him better. You can do that as a friend.
If he is not single, do not attempt to sway him away from his OH, that would never serve you well.

I believe there is a gift. But this art is very easy to pick up where you can pretend to be a psychic, use of numbers, letters and vague details like you said above can be applied to any girl between 18 -25 garenteed.


Seriously you know yourself better than she does, even if she did get a few things right. Your just honing on the things she luckily got right,Im sure if you honed in on everything you will realise she didn't get everything right.

If he is already seeing someone else you cant really do much about it.Just be nice and friendly as you have been and dont put your eggs in one basket hoping against hope.

If you are open and relaxed then you will meet someone.

As regards psychics disregard everything you were told.They are clever charlatans raking it in and unfortunately prey on vulnerable and decent people.

You dont need to be told what will happen .You can determine your own future.Day by day.No over analysing or worrying.Just be happy and things will be fine.

I wonder how much tax free euros the " psychic" pocketed that day?

I'm with Herya here. You're first line says this psychic gave you insight in life because you were lost. That to me is a bigger issue here. I don't know what you got charged but my OH got charged 75 last time she went to a psychic and every time you need advice, i'd hate to think you got charged 75 quid.


However, psychics, while in my opinion are complete frauds, are good are showing whats in your subliminal conscience. If you weren't interested in any of the guys in work, you wouldn't have put so much thought into this. all this psychic did is tell you what you already know.

If you're interested in this guy, invite him to lunch some day in work. Just say something like you won 50 on the lotto and you want to be generous. anything to get him on your own and from there start sussing him out. If you think he's interested in you, ask him to go for a drink some time. don't say date, just say drink. otherwise you'll end up dancing around the issue for ages and you'll still not be sure what the answer is.

With regards the "psychic", she's a con artist who picks up on your reactions to what she says. It's called cold reading and if done well, makes it seem like she knows all about you. So save your money in future.

As for the guy you work with, just talk to him and try not to care what others may hear or think of it. Start with simple things and you'll get comfortable with it, and soon you'll be confident to talk to him about anything, anywhere. Work on a friendship and see how you feel about the guy.

If you want to try for a proper relationship, then just ask him out (although since you don't seem keen on stealing someone elses boyfriend, you may want to find out if he is still seeing someone). It's tough to build up the courage to do it, but you'll just have to bite the bullet and go for it. There's no easy way about it. But just go for it. You'll be glad you did (and I don't have to be psychic to know that ).

why did you give up? and all thats changed is that a stranger mentioned a guy in work. If i said you should go after a guy from school, does that mean its meant to be?

Do you honestly believe this woman is in touch with the spirit world? I mean, really?

And if she was in touch with some higher power, don't you think she'd be able to do more than list off a couple of letters from the guy's name? Pretty **** spirits if you ask me.

Because those are the most frequent letters in the english language. Basic knowledge like that is the cornerstone of cryptography (code cracking)... unfortunately devious types like 'mediums' draw information from a broad range of disciplines like this in order to sucker their customers.

If some of what she said sounded believable it's because she does this for a living and has a lifetime of experience in judging - and exploiting - people's reactions and body language.

Ignore every word that left her mouth and don't waste your money on frauds.

But go for the bloke anyway. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
