    We were there last month with the 4 kids. I booked it all myself as it was cheaper than the travel agent (just over €1000!). I got my tickets on the UK site www.disneylandparis.co.uk which was cheaper than the Irish site so check it out. As it's only the 2 of you a Disney hotel package could work out quite reasonable. If you can get a good deal on flights you could do well. Have a great time & I hope your boyf has a great birthday!

    Definately do it yourself!! much cheaper!

    I just replied to a thread for cheap accomm in paris if you want to read more.. but we did 7 nights, flights, accomm, 3 days disney (didnt stay on site tho) other usual tourist stuff, food and spending for 2 adults and 2 kids for under €900!

    So well worth booking things yourself!
    i'd love to go back and what a lovely surprise!!;)

    Definitely book yourself.

    And if possible do it tonight!

    Go to www.DisneylandParis.co.uk and book with them because they have 40% off if you book by april 15th.
    Myself and my BF were looking at it and for 5 nights in Newport Bay Hotel it was only about €250 each.

    Try look it up as soon as you can.
    Its too good of an offer to miss :D

    Yes stayed in the Santa Fe last august with my boyfriend.
    Although the cheapest of the hotels its all you need when staying there.

    Rooms are average, 2 double beds, tv with Disney Channel, space to hang clothes.

    Although we booked our breakfast times we never went for breakfast.
    Frequent shuttles to the parks, although you can walk there in 10 minutes.

    If you choose to book tonight to save 40% you will find packages in the better hotels for a cheaper price than santa fe as the date of arrival determines your 40% off.

    It is THE budget disney hotel however when in Disneyland all you need is a place to shower and sleep so unless you want a hotel with a pool, book the santa fe.

    ~~~~~~
    Ive also stayed in Hotel Cheyenne.
    The theming is the wild west.
    The lobby is really nice and the bedrooms have a double bed and bunk beds.
    It is a fraction dearer than the Santa Fe but it is no closer to the parks in terms of walking distance. However their restaurant offers a different style of food. They have BBQ style.
    If I returned to Disneyland again in the near future I'd stay in Hotel Cheyenne as the theming is miles ahead.
    It is like a wetern town, wheres Santa Fe is like a group of apartments.
    Enjoy your trip
    I know this isnt answering your question but if your boyf is really into the high-thrill rides, there are more of those in Parc D'Asterix (as in Asterix and Obelix) which is also just outside Paris. I've been to both and would defo recommend Asterix, more high-octane rides and way shorter queues than EuroDisney!
