Poor bloke got caught up in a pile up and the fork snapped, he was very lucky though for a guy who went over the bars, he only had a small scratch on his knee, could have been a LOT worse.

    Nightmare stuff !

Good to hear he not badly hurt he was very lucky although he prob not feel that way looking at his bike.
But if it had held enough for him to get back up and chase can u imagine how he'd be now.
Shows you a bad crash with carbon = make sure you check it really well

That was on the finish circuit wasn't it ? I was in the cavalcade all weekend, one of our lads reported one of the Dan Morrissey's faceplanting after hitting an ill-placed bollard.

I think it's an EC70, the EC90 has carbon dropouts while the one in the picture has aluminum /quibble.

Yup, spot on Quigs, he was very lucky to get away without breaking anything. Some broken spokes on the Zipp though and lost his Garmin in the incident as well, still though better than a trip to A&E.
