I feel genuinely sorry for Froch - he puts in the best display of his life and should now be on ITV1 instead of 4 and then his contract with ITV runs out and he is left with no one to show his fight.

Setanta and others including BBC, Channel 5, have been rumoured to take the fight but the writing was on the wall in the Watson/O'Donnell fight when Hennesey had ads for www.frochvtaylor.com plastered all over ring.

I went immediately to the website where I was immediately met with this

"Froch V Taylor Super Fight Pay Per View at frochvtaylor.com
British and Irish fight fans can breathe a sigh of relief with the news that Carl Froch’s World title super fight with Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor will be available to watch online on a pay per view basis at frochvtaylor.com.

The “Continents Collide” clash between Britain’s only reigning World Champion and former undisputed Middleweight kingpin, Taylor takes place at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort Casino in the U.S. on Saturday, April 25th with fight fans on this side of the Atlantic able to watch the broadcast live online from 2am on Sunday morning.

The pay per view costs just £9.95 (or €11.00 for Irish viewers) and will give fight fans to opportunity to see one of the most eagerly awaited World title fights of the year. Further details regarding order information will be available next week on frochvtaylor.com.

Froch says he’s thrilled that his fans won’t miss out on any of the action on what promises to be the biggest night of his career. “I’m delighted that my fans in the U.K and Ireland are going to get the opportunity to see my beating Taylor in style,” said Froch. “He says he’s going to teach me how to lose but I have a few lessons of my own in mind for him. It’s a huge fight for me and a chance to prove beyond doubt that I’m the best super middleweight on the planet.”

I initially hoped that it was a ploy by Hennesey promotions to force the hand of Setanta but its now looking like this isnt going to be shown.

But the BBC seem to confirm that there will be a blackout - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7995665.stm

If I have to watch it on my computer, it won't be on that site.

Exactly, how niave to they think people - its been said before but if someone is going to stay up until 3am and be on a laptop then they are probably going to know somewhere else to find this fight.

I think that Hennesey has really failed Froch here.

I get lazy on computers, there's nothing like a fight on the widescreen.

Murdoch started off like this, sky consisted of sky 1,sky news, eurosport&sky movies all free if you bought a dish for 19.2 east, was going to be free paid by adverts, when he had roped enough dopes he scrambled and you know the rest!

sometimes nearly e25 for a ppv event that used to be free,

Let that website get it,s fingers burned otherwise the next fight will cost ?????

    fcuk them:)

Pity, as it is a fight that I would have liked to have seen on a full sized telly at full quality. It has the right fighters involved to be a really good fight. If JT comes in with the mentality to win, then we are in for a good one methinks.

Guess it will be watched on the pc with a 19 inch LCD screen instead.

Might be harder to get than u think this fight.
Crazy stuff asking for 11 euro to download a stream !!!

Don King tried this 2 years ago and failed . he had the donkingtv site , and people just wouldnt pay to download a stream.

The US broadcaster HBO is cracking down really heavy on any sites showing the streams these days :(
it's hard to get a look in .

Anyway , Froch will get a US audience which is important. If he was promoted correctly he could be part of the US craze now with Brittish fighters e.g. Calzaghe , Hatton

It's nonsense but I really want to watch this fight. I might end up paying the €11 just to have a guarantee that the stream isn't going to cut out half way through. Considering I paid twice that for Khan vs Barrera it's not the worst price in the world I guess.

Am I the only one thinking of actually paying for this?

The website isn't taking money, yet anyway. There's a link for people to register their interest so maybe it's just a ploy to try and force the hand of ITV or Setanta if there is enough interest.
