    Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, not sure if there is a designated one. Anyway I'm using utorrent to download torrents but while some download with no problems about 60% stop after a few percent and I get a nottice saying the file cannot be downloads as it is being used by another process. After hours of troubleshooting I deleted most of my programs that were said to be in conflict with it - most of roxio, google toolbars...etc but still no joy! I also downloaded a program (something like Program Viewer) that was supposed to highlight any operations that were in conflict with utorrent but nothing really arose. I often use Google Chrome but even when I'm not I still get the nottice so I assume that's not the problem. Am I missing something obvious here? The majority of things that would be running simultaneously would be msn, firefox, google chrome, windows explorer, Mediamonkey.

The main thing that's frustrating is that some files work fine!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Download Process Explorer, you can find the process that has a lock on the file you are downloading with utorrent.
