I am trying to find out what a part is called so I can order it online.

I suffered a blow out on Friday on a very small back road, too fast, pot hole, boom.

Anyway in my exuberance to 'get the hell out of there' - I broke the plastic cover on the passenger side door sill where the jack is meant to be placed to lift the car.

2005 vw passat estate - need to know what the part is called, so I can order one.

Standard car jacks are rubbish btw!:D

Your best bet is to go into a VW parts department and ask for a print out of an explosion diagram for that area. The part will be on it and you can pull the stock code off the print out...
