    Hi

Was seriously considering going to electric picnic this year and bringing a couple of my kids - they will be just past 12 so qualify for thefamily ticket - my wife doesn't do tents so she won't be going.

Has anyone been to the event with their childen and would you recommend it, aything to watch out for etc.

Are the kds restricted to their own area or are they allowed in to see the bands. Are others restricted fro entering the kids area, what is the security like etc.?

What is the age group of the picnicker - I am assuming it is not the same as (****** - didn't realise you couldn't mention this other festival).

    Any info or advice appreciated.

Electric Picnic is a very family-friendly festival. There's a separate family camp site so you can avoid the general madness. The EP crowd tends to be more mature than other festivals and the atmosphere is chilled out and very friendly. I've been to every EP since day-one and I can safely say I'd recommend it.
