    Hey,

I just put together a website for a friend of mine, Emma Brennan, who's gone over to England to study photography. She just wanted a simple site to display some of her work. All comments and suggestions welcome.... ;)

    www.ejbphotography.net

The site is interlinked with her Flickr account, so each of the categories shown is a set in Flickr... so to update she just moves around photos on Flickr and the website works off that...

looks like it ticks all the boxes, i found it pleasant to use and went through all the sets which is something i shouldn't be doing cos i should be working so it holds the user anyway!

I like the site, a nice simple easy and relaxing feel to it, well done. I also really like the photographers style and in paticular the landscape pics.

Thanks, I'll pass on the comments to Emma!

Nice and simplistic. The colours work well. Nice photos too. :)

It probably needs an intro screen instead going straight in to the wedding gallery.

Edit: Just another thing. In the info page. The text reads "Emma has worked for many years as ....". It should come from her, ie.. "I have worked for many years as ...."

Yeah maybe. What do you suggest on the intro screen?

As it is the first page is an album of mixed shots from all categories, although she hasn't updated this in Flickr since she uploaded most of the images...

We did wonder about what person to write that from!

Maybe loop through a mix of her favourite/best 10 images without the thumbs. And some info on the left, describing the image and her connection with it. In a personal way, helps the viewer connect with her and may enhance the experience.

No a bad idea oshead, I'll see what she thinks...

nk12, yeah the main tip is the Flickr Integration is setup using a combination of FlickrVIewer and SimpleViewer, then using a few different config files to allow me to have different categories.

If anyone would like a site with similar Flickr integration, PM me...
