    I assume so. Check out the website of whatever cinema you're planning to attend. I'm sure they'll have some more info.

    Cineworld seems to be open. There's nothing on their website that says any different. I'm assuming others would be the same.

    You have to remember that Ireland is not the devout Catholic country it once was.

    Even when it was, events always took place on Sundays.
    Sure St. Patricks Days is a religous festival :rolleyes:. And that's the day for the club championships.
    Italy is a Catholic country and they play their football matches on Sunday.

    Strange post for a film forum, just saying that the Church has issues with many petty things but events or going out on a Sunday wasn't one of them, yes even this Sunday

    The only day cinemas close is Xmas day. all the main multiplexes open 364 days a year including Easter Thur. Good Friday, Xmas Eve, New Years eve/Day and Stephen's Day.
