Try a main dealer for a price. Don't assume they're more expensive. I've found them cheaper for a key than a locksmith before.

There is little chance that if the car if relatively recent getting a duplicate from local locksmith will get you anywhere since keys nowadays do have a security chip to start the car that needs to be programmed for your car by main dealer only.

Now if you have a straight key with no chip, happy days. will be cheaper too.

It is possible to code a new blank key yourself on some cars as long as you have the master key that came with your car. The cars manual will have details of this if it is possible. If the master is the one you lost then yes I am afraid the main dealer is the only option using the T code which you should have carefully kept in a safe place.

    She has two options

1: Scrap yard, you could go to your local scrappy and see if you can get a complete set of locks and keys

2: Auto locksmith, he maybe able to sort you out with keys by rebuilding all lock cylinders.

Your local dealers wont be able to help AFAIK the wont be able to get JDM keys

Its also unlikly to to have a immob. so that should make life easier

Sorry mate I am confused here with your answer.
The fella wants a duplicate of his current cr key and you suggest him to go to a scrap and change all the locks along with keys.
Also locksmith that will rebuild all the lock cylinders.

Yeah well he could change the whole car too :-)

Also local dealer won't be able to help. Ok

    Man you like complications lol

Those are his only two options,

He dont have a key so a replacement cant be made as you would an original to copy from.

There will be no way to get the required key info as his dealer or anyone else wont be able to get JDM key info

Main dealer will be able to cut them from the chassis number. The keys will be cheap as they don't have transponders.

    I would'nt think so.

Im assuming its jap import as its a Jnr, i havent yet come across a franchise that car source Pre-cut Jap keys. But still try your dealer they may be able to point you in the right direction

There are some good auto-locksmiths around that should be able to sort you out . (pitty i cant remember names)

That car is most likely JDM. It will have little or no security.

A locksmith can cut you a new key if your car has a non-rolling code immobiliser or no immobiliser at all. Otherwise you must go to a main dealer.

On a side note I'd imagine your car is extremely easy to steal. If you value it much I'd advise you get some aftermarket security.
