Sky+HD "Previous Customer" Problems?

    Anyone care to shed some light on the situation I may be in.

    2 Years ago my brother signed up for sky+ multiroom and we paid for Sky+ boxes and installation. To cut a long story short it was all fine for 1 month until the Direct Debit kept failing even though the account had funds in it, it continiously failed. Alot of messing around without TV for months and we decided that was enough and we told them to F*ck off (excuse my french but it was a real mess they created).

    2 Years on and I'm interested in getting sky+HD Multiroom myself in my name( my brother no longer lives with us). Basically I am asking will this become a problem as sky were sending us "unpaid bills" for a service they hadn't been providing us.

    Anyone any idea where I stand?

    If the "unpaid bills" is in your brothers name and you want to sign up in your own name then there shouldnt be a problem with you signing up. All you have to say is that he no longer lives there and you dont know where he is gone yadda yadda yadda. They will suspend and eventually cut his service and your well able to get Sky in.


    Oh if the money wasnt coming out of the account and there was funds to cover it, then why didnt you ring sky to ask them why it wasnt coming out in the first place...some accounts cant get DD from them...best one would be a current account.
