Boots Chemist have one with a battery operated blue light thingy. there a few bottles of stuff in the box. I think its about 44 euro in the republic. you will probably get it for half that in the north.

My dentist has recommended i use parodontax for my teeth. I have noticed some french and european websites selling for half price. could these be trustworthy ( I notice ny norton cannot verify security on these websites), examples would be Docsimon and Cocooncenter ?

I think Parodontax is a toothpaste recommended to control gum disease more than having a whitening effect.

None of the expensive 'whitening' toothpastes have much whitening effect. They have a miniscule % of bleach product in them so they are largely a waste of money.

From what I hear, the best of the do it yourself whitening kits is 'Crest Whitening Strips'. You can probably purchase easily online. In the interests of research I tried them and hated them. However I have met some people who love them.
The Whitening benefit of any do it yourself system is temporary, and results vary from one system to another. A lot depends on what your teeth are like. for example if you are a young teenager the results are often pretty much ok. But you have to be a young teenager!

Do you.....brush your teeth with baking soda then, or what?

so what I found out on web.
    1. this is one of the oldest ways of teeth waitening, but
    2. if you overdose (as soda is added to all toothpastes now) it can be dangerous as Soda weakens you teeth protection and can cause that later on they will go back to old colour or even get darker.
    3. anyways you can put some on your toothbrush and brush your teeth
    4. you can mix some with water and leave your toothbrush in it, then brush it

I recon that the safest way is to do it at your dentist, but even this lamp treatment can not be 100% safe
