Toyota Engine Problem

    Hi all,

Recently my car , Toyota Corolla 98 HB, started making a very strange noise and the gears began to give trouble. So i checked the engine out and noticed that some of the bolts holding the engine in place were missing! Obviously this classes the car as unsafe to drive ( i assume?) so im not driving it until i get it sorted. Today i rang my usual mechanic and they were closed and rang 2 scrapyards and they were closed. Is there anywhere i could get these bolts besides there ? Atlantic Homecare ??

Any Help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks !

Any pics of the missing bolts locations on the car ??

afraid not. I need to get it fixed asap like.

One of them seems like 1 of the main ones. Its right next to the engine on the left. And ones missing further down into the engine.

There's a possibility a Toyota main dealers parts department might be open tomorrow morning, they are usually open for a half day saturdays but with the Easter weekend they may not be. As a temporary measure ones from a DIY shop might do the job but if it was my car I would leave it and get them from a main dealer or scrap yard.

Are they the bolts beside the 710 cap?

Though theoretically possible, it is extremely unlikely that your engine mounting bolts have worked themselves loose, and are missing.

Take some photos and post them here.
