gaming in Predator

just a quick thread ,
there are a number of use heading up to Predator ( http://www.predatorcombat.com/ ) next Sunday (19 April)
if anyone wants to tag along
PM me and i'll try to set up the car pool .(over 18yrs only in the car pool)

I have an idea for a new game setup.


It's called hunt the Lemming. Team one, that's everyone, gives him a five second headstart. Team 2, that's Lemming, needs to escape to the lake. With concrete shoes.

just one question though given that the numbers are looking to be quite high will it be a case where it'll be a fullday rolling scenario or will it be specific separate scenarios ?

Have to say the first time I was there, there was that fantastic game scenario where it was like 5 base rolling assault or something. It was fantastic and one of the best games ive played in the country, it was like a huge milsim and it brought tactical play from everyone.

Went down the following week and it was like a skirmish, few different scenarios, was a bit lame have to admit.

Hopefully its a huge game on display, cause that to me seems to be when Pred shines

Will have a scrape of the old grey matter and see if I cant come up with something a bit different.

We've been messing about with different gametypes the past while and have a good idea of what works and what doesn't, so all being well we can try throwing them altogether and get a bit of a scenario going.

Get Miceal to send you an email with everybody's name on it. Print it out and have it with you (or perhaps one copy per car). That should be fine.

All you need is evidence that you're legitimate skirmishers going to or from an event, not just driving around looking for mischief, and some ID to tie you to the other evidence. The requirements to establish a defence for carrying RIFs are quite modest.

might i suggest using the medic rule as you guys really have it down to a T down there with the hit rag method.

also could we use the friendly fire kills both players rule as it forces people to take greater care when searching for targets and gives a bit of negative consequence to shoot first ask questions later.

A full days walkon is £20 folks.

As for the medic rule, it depends on everyone playing. Sometimes everyone goes for it, other times people just don't "get" it.

Chances are we'll kick off with a quick warmup to gauge what direction to take the days game. After that we'll see how things go.

Hehe, I had the Aug A3 in my hand but didnt get it!
I just modded my G&G stock for Lipo battery, fixed my Dboy and made sure my mp5 was working. All in all a good days work outside in the sunshine!

Yep its a 1 joule limit..... Not that it matters considering how close you get to the enemy
