Full Time Drummer required for Irish rock group

Full time drummer required for Dublin rock group.

Band comparisons and influences range from Pearl Jam, KOL, U2, Muse.
Rock, Rock alternative.

This would be a full time commitment and would require constant rehearsals, live shows and press. The act is on the verge of being signed by a major and will be on tour world wide. Already has a US tour scheduled for Autumn aswell as the summer festival circuit.

Aged between 20 - 26.

Sounds like they are more interested in appearance than musical ability.

Maybe you should change your advertisement to "Looking for another member to complete Boy Band"

Im just professional and was treating this as a professional band.
I was hoping to be treated the same but hadnt heard anything at all back after i had sent a few messages.

Waiting on the extra day wouldnt have been a problem at all once i knew that, that was the case.

Anyway no point in harping on about it.

Whats wrong with being picky about who you choose? If they dont like you because you have pink hair or because your 57, get over it and dont be so sensetive. There are NO professional musicians on this forum, NONE, dont kid yourself, we're all the bottom of the barrell on here

I make my living from music and music alone.
It's my only income.
And i would imagine that alot of people who post here are in a similar position

any real professional musician would have plenty of contacts with other musicians or bands and if they ever needed a bassist/drummer or guitarist for a project they wouldnt be trawling through here for months looking for someone. I know plenty of people who posted on here looking for musicians both full time and as a casual jam and the majority of them just dont bother with this site anymore, what im saying is, while there maybe a few pro's on here, you have to sift through a lot of crap to find them.

i know a plenty or real professional musicians who use this site?! just because they are real professional musicians doesnt mean that they shouldnt be here because they automatically should know the right person for there band hah, i find the main problem here is people waffling on other peoples thread throwing in their two cents where its not wanted, i say we leave handstandman to get on with his search... ;-)
