    Hi all,

Was checking my bank account tonight and noticed a DD had been refused from my account. Problem is its my insurance payment. I rang the bank and they said it was refused as they had not received a proper DD instruction from the insurance company.

Will try to ring the insurance company in the morning to find out what the story is.

My question is should I stop driving the car until I clarify this with the insurance company. The other problem is if they will be open tomorrow. Insurance company is Allianz.

    Thanks for any help.

I would presume you should be ok if the problem lies on the insurance company's side. They usually give a few days grace between payments

I told Quinn a few years ago I wasn't renewing my policy with em and they said to cancel the DD just in case it doesn't go into their system on time and so they don't accidently charge me.

About two months later I got a letter saying I owed em x amount and I'd have to pay within ten days or something if I wanted to be covered! I rang up and cleared it all up but the model of the story is...you should be ok!

What insurance comp is it? If its quinn yer grand!
