Anyone know how to drop the rear seats of a 2008 A4.
Tried the manual and looked around the car. Can't find the release handle!!!!

AFAIK, folding rear seats are an option on the A4 - might be your car doesn't have it?

Odds are you don't have folding seats.

Open the boot, look in at the rear of the back seats. If it's once solid piece of "carpet", then you don't have split rear seats, if you can see a vertical split in the surface then you do.

If you do, the releases will be on the top of the seat back, beside where the seatbelt comes out.

Anyone else think no folding rear seats is a joke in an a4 at mid-30k?

...I think the bigger joke is paying mid 30's for an A4.

But hey, that's just me !

Depending on what spec of Avensis you have, or if it's a saloon or hatch you won't have folding rear seats either.

It's a fairly common thing that saloons don't have split/folding rear seats while their hatchback & estate siblings do.

Not as much of a feckin joke as manual rear windows in my 02 1.8T Quattro ( that must have cost the previous owner a right few quid also when he purchased it new )
